We are now promoting when our esteemed studio members will be present on-site to help with any printmaking questions you might have. Our studio members play a pivotal role in empowering aspiring artists, guiding Mentorship students, and assisting Day Pass owners. Their expertise and dedication shine as they readily lend a helping hand, offering valuable insights and personalized mentorship to those seeking to explore the captivating world of printmaking.

Print Studio Members

 

Rick Sinnett

  • Rick Sinnett of Mustang, Oklahoma, is a muralist, printmaker, and curator. He is self-taught and has referred to himself as a folk artist. His artwork, which characteristically has bold lines, also typically includes vibrant colors and repeated patterns. His early artistic career took him to California, where he adopted the moniker Mothman due to the animals and natural elements which serve as the foundation of his compositions. 

Lauren Mitchell

  • Lauren Mitchell is a designer and multidisciplinary artist who experiments in mediums such as printmaking, fiber art, collage, and calligraphy/hand lettering. Lauren creates work that promotes equality and empathy and overall brings people joy. 

Kai Gregory

  • Kai Gregory is a Native American artist who resides in Oklahoma City—a recent Northwest Classen high school graduate. While attending school, Kai participated in the ARTSPACE Mentorship program for three years. Now attending the University of Central Oklahoma to study art, Kai is excited to be back in the studio as a member. Kai's work has become very familiar with Printmaking and has started branching into ceramics and fabric arts over the past few years. 

Eduardo Martinez 

  • Eduardo Martinez is a paleontology printmaker in Oklahoma. As a printmaker, he enjoys depicting long-extinct creatures as accurately as possible or reimagining an animal with a cartoonist flair. Eduardo graduated with a BFA in 2020 from the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma. Eduardo enjoys rock climbing with friends or going to the movies when he is not carving linoleum or perusing through a zoo. 

Anna Humes 

  • Anna Humes is a printmaker and graphic designer living in Oklahoma City. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2021 with a BFA in Graphic Design and a minor in printmaking. She specializes in relief printmaking, focusing on botanical imagery and other natural forms. Her hands-on and get-messy approach to art and design creates memorable visuals that spark conversation. Since 2019, Humes has participated in the Steamroller Printmaking Festival. In 2022, she was selected to participate in ARTSPACE at Untitled's Exquisite Corpse Exhibition. In 2023, she was featured as a Spotlight Artist alongside 20 other Oklahoma printmakers in the Spotlight Print Exhibition. Elijah Tate 

  • Elijah Tate is local to OKC, born and raised. Working theater and film gigs since college, Elijah loves photography, silkscreen, cyanotype, and graphic design. For the past few years, his philosophy with art has been "the bigger, the better." He hopes to test the limit with each new work. 

Aztrid Moan 

  • Aztrid Lives and works in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is an interdisciplinary artist. Acrylic, watercolor, and block printing are her most chosen mediums. Her subject matter ranges from animals in nature to intriguing manufactured subjects. 

Emma Difani 

  • Emma Difani is a multimedia visual and installation artist based in Oklahoma City. She received her BFA with an emphasis in printmaking from the University of New Mexico in 2014. She teaches art and printmaking for all ages throughout Oklahoma with Oklahoma City University, the State Department of Education, and several non-profit arts organizations. In 2019, Emma co-founded Connect:Collect, an annual international print exchange seeking to highlight and connect printmakers in Oklahoma with artists worldwide. Her work uses the obsessive layering of printmaking to examine the complex relationships between natural and constructed environments. 

Justin Stier 

  • Justin Stier is an art teacher and artist that works in Oklahoma City public schools. He has been in education for six years and has been a freelance illustrator for over 12 years. As an educator, Justin strives to learn alongside his students by finding new projects and mediums to bring into the classroom to learn with his students. As an artist, he freelances as a children's book illustrator and designer. His preferred form of art for these projects is Digital illustration. When he is not using his talent for clients, he works away from his computer to explore art in a more traditional fashion. In the past few years, he has developed his printmaking skills, focusing more on relief prints using woodblocks as a preferred medium. His art style has a whimsical design to it that comes from his background in illustrating children's books when he worked in publishing.  

Todd E Clark

  • Todd E Clark is a multidisciplinary artist hailing from the OKC area, who has immersed himself in his creative endeavors for over three decades. Todd wears many hats as an artist, graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, musician, and actor, appreciating that some roles come more naturally to him than others.

    Having honed his skills within the advertising industry, Todd has dedicated much of his free time volunteering for various non-profit organizations, especially those who embody the transformative power of art.

    Todd also collaborates with the Factory Obscura collective of artists, proudly showcasing his fine art prints and merchandise in their gift shop. Todd finds solace in the loving presence of his wife, four cherished pets, a flourishing collection of house plants, and an abundance of local art.

Jeremiah Ivey Artist Headshot

Jeremiah Ivey

  • Jeremiah Ivey, a Texan native born in El Paso, cultivated his artistic roots amidst the enchanting landscapes of New Mexico. A graduate of the Joe Kubert School of Illustration, Jeremiah further honed his craft at UCO, specializing in art education. His artistic repertoire spans drawing, painting, and ceramics, allowing him to weave a diverse narrative through various mediums, capturing the essence of his creative journey.

Adrienne Day 

  • Adrienne Day has been active as an artist and educator for over 35 years. Earning a BFA from Oklahoma University and MFA from Arizona State University, her love of the processes in printmaking continues to spark experimentation and exploration. She taught studio classes at UCO and OCU and in public schools. In the1990s, she was active in the Oklahoma Arts Council's Artist in Residence program. Her artwork is included in over 20 museums and universities in the United States, Germany, and many private collections.  

Lulu Zilinskas

  • Lulu Zilinskas is an archivist and artist living in Oklahoma City. She received her BA in Art with a concentration in Printmaking and a minor in History of Art and Visual Culture at the University of California, Santa Cruz and her MS in Library Science from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Lulu's artwork ranges from illustration to book art, typically incorporating various printmaking methods towards her final product. She finds herself most drawn to screen printing, relief, and intaglio. In her day-to-day life, Lulu is the Digital Archivist at the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum.

Eric Martinez 

  • My name is Eric Aquilino Martinez Villegas, and I'm a printmaker and ceramicist. Recently, my favorite medium has been printmaking, specifically relief printing! I'm bilingual! I Speak English as well as Spanish. I encourage conversations on diversity and the need for culture through my work. 

Barbara D. Garcia

  • Mexican American artist Barbara D. Garcia, originally from Atlanta, Georgia, embarked on her multidisciplinary artistic journey while at the University of Oklahoma. Infusing her work with perspectives inspired by history, the American West, space, technology or fluorescence, Barbara creates a freeform aesthetic. Guided by philosophies of 'all love' and 'mentally on Mars', her art transcends visual appeal, acting as a conduit for personal growth, cultural exploration, and social impact.

Spencer Lee

  • Hey! I am a graphic designer based in Oklahoma City. I specialize in brand design, packaging, motion graphics and printmaking. I love nothing more than throwing on Carhartt and getting dusty. I find my favorite design inspiration lives in the dark cobwebbed corners of the antique shops across the midsouth. Matchbooks, oil cans, hand-lettered signs, manuals, and pamphlets. I love digging around for inspiration, knick-knacks and tchotchkes to give my design brain new life.

Samantha Kickingbird

  • Oklahoma-based artist Samantha Kickingbird has been creating since 2009. Originally a painter and printmaker, Samantha began to expand her work to include illustration and pattern design, bringing together traditional mediums with a more stylized and design-centered approach. Samantha seeks to create a narrative within each image, where each element helps to expand the story and make visual connections that infuse the imagery with meaning.
