Join us on Saturday June 17th from 1-4pm for a paper marbling workshop with Adrienne Day! You will leave as an expert in this method of surface design, which can produce patterns like smooth marble or other kinds of stone! The patterns are the result of color transferred from a viscous solution to an absorbent surface, such as paper or fabric. Through several centuries, people have applied marbled materials to a variety of surfaces, especially book covers and endpapers in bookbinding and stationery. Part of its appeal is that each print is a unique monotype!
