Please join us for the opening reception of David Crismon's Dislocated Histories on Thursday, May 10th from 5-8pm.
Crismon is a prolific artist living and working in Oklahoma City. This exhibition at Artspace at Untitled will feature new work by Crismon from his “Dislocated Histories” series, which uses an “old” process of painting to speak about “new” processes or technologies.
Crismon re-interprets, splices, and edits various historical works to accentuate how history is endlessly under construction and how neither the past nor present can exist without the interference of the other.
This event is free & open to the public with complimentary snacks and refreshments available. Parking is available in the lot behind our building.
