Marbling is a technique for making unique swirled, spattered or geode-type patterns with paint that is floated on a thickened water-based surface or size. These patterns are then transferred to another surface such as paper, or a variety of fabrics.
In this 3 hour class participants will make marbled designs with acrylics and transfer them to white cotton fabric that is approximately 9” x 12”. This will be an afternoon of exploring endless possibilities with color combinations and swirling, organic patterns.
Participants may also bring their own fibers to play with!
