Please join us to celebrate our Mentorship students' hard work and dedication. The opening reception is on March 3rd, 5-8 PM. The exhibition will be displayed in both galleries, main and press, from March 3rd to March 17th. Bar Cicchetti is gracious in donating the finger foods for the reception, and we thank them for supporting our mission. Live relief printing led by Cori Crawford will feature sneak peeks of prints in the 2022 Steamroller Festival Exhibition. Alexandra Rivas will delight us with live letterpress activities, and Clover Bitting-Cheek will create live portraits of guests for $7 per portrait. Live music provided by Las Vegas Airport from 7-8 PM.
The exhibition displays works created in the Mentorship Program and after-school programming that ARTSPACE offers to the following schools: Astec Charter School, Emerson South Alternative Education, Mission Academy, Southeast High School, Northwest Classen High School, Douglass High School, Classen SAS High School, Harding Fine Arts Academy, Santa Fe South High School, and Mount St. Mary Catholic High School. Thanks to our sponsors, over one hundred students participate each year for zero cost.
Free parking is located near the rear entrance of ARTSPACE, and this event is free and open to the public. Masks are encouraged inside the building.
