BIG INK, Exhibition Opening
Join ARTSPACE for a newly curated selection of relief prints on loan from the BIG INK permanent collection! The large-scale prints will be on display in the main gallery.
BIG INK is an organized network of creative individuals primarily focused on carving, printing, and promoting large-scale woodcuts. Through a call-for-entry process, artists are invited to submit a proposal to create a woodcut with a minimum of twenty-four by thirty-six inches in dimension and a maximum of forty by seventy-two inches. BIG INK prints with their traveling press known as “The Big Tuna” or their host’s existing facilities. “The Big Tuna” is an enlarged version of equipment found in a traditional printmaking studio.
BIG INK at ARTSPACE!
