Join us on March 2nd from 1-4 PM for a workshop over suminagashi marbling processes!
Suminagashi or “floating ink” is the process of marbling plain paper with water and ink to transform it into something vibrant and colorful. It originated in Japan as early as the 12th century, and continues to be a fun and easy process that lends spectacular results. Christine has taken classes from master marblers across the United States and we are excited to have her teaching in the Artspace studio. We will be marbling on paper for this class, and you can use turn your final products into framable art pieces, handmade cards, or scrapbook pages.
