Learn two alternative print techniques incorporating leaves and plant material with Carol Ann Webster.
Eco-printing is a technique that uses steam and pressure to extract colors and patterns from leaves and flowers. You can eco-print onto paper or cloth. You’ll eco-print on paper in this workshop. It’s easy and you’ll learn how to do it at home!
Cyanotype is the process of using a chemical (like the architectural blueprints) that is developed in the sun. You’ll learn both a dry and a wet cyanotype technique.
The eco-printed and cyanotype papers that you create make wonderful cards, matted and framed art, or the base to take your art in an entirely new direction!
