Come learn how to screenprint your own merchandise with local artist and printmaker, Virginia Sitzes! We’re talking t-shirts, tote bags, stickers, business cards, and buttons!!! This workshop is designed for any skill level, no prior experience is necessary. Our classes are informal, personal, improvisational and welcoming to everyone.
Our cash bar will be open if you’d like to purchase a craft beer, glass of wine, or a tasty non-alcoholic beverage!
What you can expect:
• A FUN evening of printmaking bliss!
• Skills you can take back into the studio to keep creating afterwards
• Free parking!!!
• Emulsion, screens, squeegees, ink, and limited paper provided.
What to bring:
• Participants need to bring blank shirts and/or totes, pillow cases, etc. (fabric must be flat)
• Some sticker paper provided but limited. We recommend that you bring extra.
• Rag paper provided but limited.
• Artwork (one color design) that you want to put on these things *it is also okay if you do not have anything beforehand

Virginia Sitzes is an artist living and creating in Oklahoma City, OK. Originally from Denton, Texas, Virginia received her BFA from the University of Oklahoma where she studied printmaking and painting. She has exhibited, as well as taught workshops, across Texas and Oklahoma. Her work has been featured in Art Focus magazine, Oklahoma Gazette, The Gayly, The Tulsa Voice, and the “Inspiring Conversations OKC” and “Whatcha Makin’?” podcast. Virginia is also an active arts organizer. She co-founded the emerging artist collective, Art Group OKC, and has curated various pop-up shows in houses, alternative art galleries, and non-traditional venues.
