This class will teach a Shibori dye technique using silk and fiber reactive dyes. We will sew up this versatile garment that can be worn as a Shrug, Cape, Scarf, Sarong, and much more! If you already have lightweight chiffon fabric, you can bring your own. If not, there will be silk for sale at the time of the workshop. Approximately $20, and the artist prefers card payment, but cash is accepted. All dyeing tools will be provided! If you have a sewing machine, please bring it. If not, we will have people share ours. Basic sewing machine skills required. There is free parking at ARTSPACE for all participants. A fridge is located in the studio if you wish to bring snacks.
